At Journey Into Africa we specialise in wildlife safaris and as yet we do not feel that the wildlife in Mozambique is good enough for us to recommend in preference to other African countries. However, this country is gaining a reputation particularly on the Mozambique archipelago for beach time relaxation at the end of Southern African safaris.
It goes without saying that Zimbabwe has gone through some difficult years. It had a reputation for excellent game viewing and possibly the finest guides on the African continent, who’s training and assessment was second to none. In spite of all the countries woes, the wildlife has stood up remarkably well and areas such as Mana Pools, Hwange and Matusadona still offer some exceptional game viewing opportunities, with game drive, canoe and walking options in many areas.
At Journey Into Africa we are visiting Zimbabwe in August of 2019 to gauge for ourselves whether we feel the infrastructure, game viewing and quality of the safari experience is suitable for our clients. We’ll let you know!
