Low season in Botswana (Dec to March) offers the same camps, guides and service at sometimes significantly less than 50% of high season prices. Rain is very possible, normally in short sharp showers, and some of the large herds of elephant and buffalo have dispersed from areas such as the Okavango Delta, but all territorial animals such as the predators remain, and the clear light and excellent bird watching, coupled with the fantastic value at excellent and really exclusive camps, make this a favourite time for many.
International flights and Johannesburg/Maun, Livingstone/Johannesburg not included.
This safari is ideally suited to a couple traveling together, using seat rate light aircraft flights between camps and can be adapted to increase or decrease days to suit.
